Nickel based AWS A5.14 ERNiCr-3 welding wire

ERNiCr-3 is used for welding nickel-chromium-iron alloy (ASTM B 163, B 166, B 167, and B 168 having UNS number N06600) to itself, for the clad side of joints in steel clad with nickel-chromium-iron alloy, for surfacing steel with nickel-chromium-iron weld metal, for dissimilar welding of nickel-base alloys, and for joining steel to stainless steel or nickel-base alloys using the GTAW, GMAW, SAW, and PAW processes

6	SPECIFICATION	ERNiCr-3 is designed for the welding of alloys 600,601 and 800 to themselves, for the clad side of joints in steel clad with nickel-chromium- iron alloys and for dissimilar welding of nickel-based alloys. It is also utilized to oil carbon steels to nickel alloys and carbon steels. Arcos 382 provides high strength and good corrosion resistance, resists oxidation and deliver creep-ruptrue strength at elevated temperatures.

8	APPLICATION	Formulated to resist pitting corrosion and stress-corrosion cracking in chloride containing environments ERNICr-3 is ideal for welding in desalination plans. it is also well suited for welding in a variety of temperatures-from cryogenic to elevated-in such applications as piping, furnace equipment, and perto-chemical and power generation plants.

APPLICATIONS

WISDOM ERNiCr-3 nickel based welding wire is used for dissimilar welding applications between various nickel alloys and stainless or carbon steels, as well as for overlay
WISDOM ERNiCr-3 also used for welding 9% nickel steels to one another having high impact strength at low temperature.
Dissimilar-welding application include joining Inconel alloys, Incoloy alloys, Incoloy alloy 330 to nickel, Monel alloys, stainless steels, and carbon steels.
